Interior Painting.

Step 1: Room Preparation
Furniture is moved or relocated to provide access to work area. Furniture is then covered with plastic and floors are covered with drop cloths to insure protection of your property.

Step 2: Surface Preparation
All drywall repairs are completed, including nail pops, stress cracks, drywall tape, etc. Cracks in the trim are caulked with a 55/60-year caulk. A stain-killing acrylic or oil-based primer is applied as needed.

Step 3: Paint
We use Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints. We use only the top of the line paints from these manufacturers in flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and gloss finishes. We recommend an eggshell, satin or semi-gloss finish on interior paint jobs where washability is a priority.

Step 4: Clean Up
All areas are cleaned and dusted at completion of the interior paint job. Furniture is returned to its original positions. Any leftover paint is left for future touch ups and color matches.

Step 5: Final Inspection
We will contact you as we near completion of the interior paint job to schedule a final inspection with you. All final touch up is done at this time. We want you to be completely satisfied with the job before we collect payment. We accept cash, check and credit cards (visa, mastercard and discover).

Step 1: Pressure Washing
We pressure wash all painted surfaces of your home to remove the dirt and surface mildew. We use only environmentally friendly chemicals to protect your landscaping. We will remove shutters from your house (unless attached to brick) before the cleaning begins so the siding behind the shutters is cleaned of debris to insure a professional exterior painting job.

Step 2: Carpentry Repairs
If you have contracted with us to do carpentry repairs, we will schedule for our carpenter to begin the repairs after pressure washing. We use no-rot replacement materials.

Step 3: Prep Work
We begin by removing downspouts (unless on brick surface) and protect all non-painted surfaces with drop cloths. All cracks and loose joints are caulked with a 55/60-year caulk to lock out moisture. All recessed nail heads are puttied to lock out moisture. All metal lentils and rusted areas are primed with a rust-inhibitive red oxide primer. All new wood, peeling and loose paint is scraped and then spot primed with an exterior acrylic or oil primer to protect bare wood and assist in the adhesion of new paint to insure a professional exterior house painting job.

Step 4: Paint
We use Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paints. These are top of the line paints with 20-year guarantees. We recommend a satin or semi-gloss finish on the siding and a semi-gloss/gloss finish for the trim. These finishes provide better protection, fade resistance, chalk resistance and washability in lieu of a flat finish to insure a professional exterior painting job.

Step 5: Method of Application
We use both spray and hand brush application. There are advantages and disadvantages of both applications, which we can discuss with you at the time of the estimate. If you prefer a specific method of application, please let us know so that we can provide the appropriate pricing to insure a professional exterior house painting job. .

Step 6: Clean Up
All exterior windows are cleaned and the screens re-hung. Any paint chips are cleaned up and removed. Any leftover paint is left for future touch up or color matches.

Step 7: Final Inspection
We will contact you as we near completion of the job to schedule a final inspection with you. All final touch up is done at this time. We want you to be completely satisfied with the job before we collect payment.
